Your Marriage Is A Blueprint For Your Children

The Parenting Junkie asks what marriage advice did you receive? How did your parents model a happy marriage? Or if they didn’t what did they model? If you find yourself asking how to improve your marriage, or looking for healthy marriage tips you may not have had a healthy relationship modeled for you (most of us haven’t). Without conscious effort we may be repeating the patterns of our parents’ marriage. After all, the marriage blueprint we received in childhood is that which our parents modeled for us and created for us. If you want to create a better blueprint for marriage for your children you need to model all the things you want them to have in their future relationships. When we parent in love in are giving our kids one of the best gifts we possibly can, the gift of witnessing and therefore creating a blueprint of a blissful marriage.
