Your First Period: What You Need to Know

I’m not sure who was more nervous for my daughter’s first period – her or me. Moms, it’s important for us to help our daughters feel comfortable with the change that their bodies will soon be going through. Having a conversation about what is normal and what can be expected during the menstrual cycle can relieve some of the nervousness for both of you. Here is what you can expect as she enters puberty.
